FAQs: At the Program

How will I get to the program?

Many families drive their child to the program. Others travel by air, bus, or train. Summer Quest will provide air, bus, or train transportation to students who receive free or reduced lunch. (However, families are responsible for the costs of transportation between the station/airport and the program site.)

How long do the programs last?

Programs vary in length. Some may only last a week, while others last up to eight weeks. Consult each program's website for the exact length of time.

When do the programs start?

Each program is different, but the majority of the programs start in July or August. A few may start in late June. Consult the program's website for exact dates.

Who will supervise my children?

Students reside in single sex dormitories supervised by same sex counselors.

Can students travel back and forth?

No. All students are expected to arrive on the appropriate day and remain on site for the duration of their program.

Can students work while being in Summer Quest?

No. Students are required to stay at their program the entire time. They will be busy doing work for that program; therefore, they will not have time for a job.

I have a question that is not on this list. Where can I find an answer?
