Financial Aid & Fees
All students must apply for financial aid/scholarships from the external programs in order to be considered for additional scholarship support from Chicago Public Schools. Program financial aid deadlines are often earlier than the regular admissions deadlines. Parents/guardians should submit a copy of their financial aid award to the Summer Quest office as soon as it is received.
With the combination of CPS support and support from the summer program, students who receive free or reduced lunch will pay approximately $30 per week in tuition. CPS scholarships to students who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will be awarded based on need and availability.
Transportation
Summer Quest will provide air, bus, or train transportation to students who receive free or reduced lunch. Families may be responsible for the costs of transportation between the station/airport and the program site.
Miscellaneous fees
Families may need to pay between $100 and $200 for books and other course materials. Miscellaneous spending money (for souvenirs, etc) is a personal decision for each family.
Meals and housing are generally included in the price of tuition
