How to Apply
Summer Quest 2011
Summer Quest eligibility and application procedures have changed. In years past, Summer Quest applicants applied to Summer Quest first, then applied to summer programs with Summer Quest assistance. Now, Summer Quest will still provide partial scholarships for tuition and/or travel, but students must apply and be accepted to an approved summer program first, as well as apply for financial aid from the program. Please read the following information carefully.
Eligibility
Summer Quest is open to motivated CPS students who are currently enrolled in grades 9-11, have demonstrated financial need, and have an unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above. In order to receive Summer Quest funding for your summer program, you must submit the following completed materials:
1. Acceptance letter from a Summer Quest-approved summer program (see list).
2. Proof of free/reduced lunch status
3. Summer Quest application
Application process
Step 1: Apply to one or more summer programs on the Summer Quest pre-approved list.
Step 2: When you receive your letters of acceptance, choose your preferred program.
Step 3: Submit required materials to Summer Quest along with Summer Quest application
