SLaM
Short for Student Leaders and Mentors, SLaM provides an outlet for Summer Quest alumni in high school to further develop the skills and confidence they gained during their summer experiences. Participants will attend leadership workshops, where they will learn how to become agents of change in their schools and communities. They can then use what they have learned to serve as ambassadors of Summer Quest to their fellow students, promoting the program in their schools and helping their peers through the application process.
At present, there are 14 SLaM members at 10 high schools. If you would like to join the SLaM team, an application will be available in June.
